The Problem

Data That Tells a Story

The pain isn't just in your body - it follows you everywhere. That's why we don't just chase symptoms. We get you moving, get you back to what you love, and the rest starts to lift.

It's not just physical

Around 4 in 10 people in long-term pain also struggle with depression or anxiety. Source: Aaron et al. (2025), JAMA Network Open.

HOW IT WORKS

3 PHASES

No guesswork. We assess what's actually going on, build you back stronger, then get you performing. Each phase earns the next.

01
Assess & Restore

We start with a full movement assessment - not a quick poke at the sore spot, but a proper look at how you move, where the load's going, and why the pain keeps showing up. Then a personalised plan to get you out of pain at the source.

02
Build & Load

We reassess, then build you back stronger with progressive strength work. This is where the pain doesn't just leave - it stays gone, because your body can finally handle the load you put through it.

03
Perform

A final reassessment and a plan built around your goal - running, lifting, racing, whatever you love. You leave moving better than before the pain ever started.

“I knew it was money well spent when the pain I'd tolerated for years disappeared within the first week. It has never come back, and while being coached I've completed 20 Along the Forth and taken part in a backyard ultra.”

Five years ago I was £15k in debt, overweight, and going nowhere - and a podiatrist told me I wasn't built to run. It lit something in me. I did a sports science degree, sold my car to clear my debt, and built Grounded Performance to change the script for people who've been told "that's just how it is." I've since worked with 1,000+ people and run two marathons. When I'm not in the clinic you'll find me running, in the gym, out hiking, or being a total iPad kid on YouTube watching how-to videos.
